Therapists
At Woodford Medical we have a team of three highly skilled therapists, all with their own specialisms and areas of expertise. Carla, Debbie and Natalie are fully qualified from recognised Beauty Schools in Essex and are all members of the BABTAC association (The British Association of Beauty Therpay & Cosmetology).
Carla Pooran
Carla qualified in Beauty Therapy (NVQ Level 3) at Colchester Institute in 1997, and has vast experience working with the beauty and now medical aesthetics industry. Before joining Woodford Medical in 2004 Carla managed a beauty salon in Frinton-on Sea, but has since developed her training and extended her qualifications in advanced techniques used within the medical aesthetics environment at Woodford Medical.
Clinically trained in both Agera Rx and Epionce skin peels and skincare, medical microdermabrasion and advanced skin rejuvenation, Carla is a highly skilled therapist. She has qualified in using both the Lumenis and Palomar StarLux laser and light technology for treatments such as IPL hair removal and photofacials. Her new specialism is the Palomar 1540 and Infra-Red Skin Tightening techniques which provide sophisticated and superior results for ageing and damaged skin.
Debbie Lingard
Debbie joined Woodford Medical in 2002, after qualifying from Colchester Institute in Beauty Therapy (NVQ Level 2). As part of a professional team of therapists Debbie has also furthered her advanced skills in Agera Rx and Epionce skin peels and skincare, medical microdermabrasion and advanced skin rejuvenation.
Debbie specialises in one of the latest treatments we offer at Woodford Medical, Colonic Hydrotherapy. Having undertaken an intensive course in Colon Hydrotherapy at the Chi Centre for Practical Detoxification, Debbie provides a very discreet but relaxed and professional treatment for those with digestive and bowel problems.
Like Carla, Debbie has qualified in using both the Lumenis and Palomar StarLux laser and light technology for treatments such as IPL hair removal and photofacials.
Natalie Kidd
Natalie joined the Woodford Medical team in 2002. Having qualified in Beauty Therapy (NVQ Level 3) from Thurrock and Basildon College, Natalie has progressed her beauty experience into more specialist areas of medical aesthetics.
Natalie is a dedicated therapist, offering expertise in beauty-led treatments and fully trained in the more advanced techniques of skin peels and skincare, medical microdermabrasion and advanced skin rejuvenation.
Highly proficient in IPL Hair Removal, Natalie has qualified in using both the Lumenis and Palomar StarLux laser and light technology.
